College senior photos deserve more love! After all, they require days (or nights) of classes and lots of study time! A college degree is a true accomplishment! And I’m always here to help you celebrate it.
Sydney studied Environmental Science at Wesley and totally rocked her college senior photos back in June of 2021.
You may already know that I have a personal attachment to Wesley College! You see, I graduated from Wesley College back in 2019, and every senior session I’ve shot since has made me so sentimental.
It’s funny, nostalgia is a weird human emotion. The way we can reflect on our past experiences as we grow and evolve is a beautiful thing. But nostalgia becomes even more tender when the option to revisit your memories in the future is ripped out from under you.
If you didn’t know, after 147 years of serving the community, Wesley College now belongs to Delaware State University. So these 2021 seniors are the last graduating class as wolverines!
I know that many of us see Wesley College as more than where we furthered our education. Wesley was established back in 1873. It’s a historic location! It’s historic in the sense that it has been around for so long, but it also has a legacy to families and the community as a whole.
My dad got his degrees from Wesley. And years later, I found myself here as well. This space means so much to me, and to so many others! It was an honor to capture college senior portraits here.
I love the way one building has brought so many of us together here in Delaware.
And there is a silver lining to all of this! While Wesley College is no more, the campus still remains. So if you are a past fellow graduate and you want to take portraits on campus…
