At Home Portraits with New Homeowners Jess and Sika

Welcome to Jess and Sika’s portraits! One of my favorite kind of photo sessions are lifestyle photoshoots, especially in home settings. So I was so excited for these at home portraits! Even more so because their session was to celebrate them being first time home owners.

If you’ve been following me for a little while you might recognize this lovely couple. Jess and Sika are previous clients of mine. They had me shoot their engagement photos and had me booked for their wedding as well. Needles to say, I was so ready to capture this milestone for them.

Who isn’t excited for their first home!

It was so fun getting to be a fly on the wall and get candids of Jess and Sika. So I joined them for a meal, dessert + coffee in the kitchen, snuggles in their living room, and enjoying their backyard. And I can already tell these are portraits they’ll get to look back on with fondness for decades to come.

As the years go on, and as their house changes, they’ll always have this exciting time captured in their at home portraits to look back on.

I LOVED capturing these two creating in their kitchen, enjoying a meal, snuggling on the couch, and just enjoying the life they built together. It’s such a lovely feeling to watch the lives of my clients turned friends blossom into their dreams come true. There’s just nothing like it.
